Who We Support

Boulder Mountain Clinical Services provides therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating a wide range of emotional, developmental, and life challenges.

Families often come to us when they notice:

  • Increased worry, overwhelm, or withdrawal

  • Challenges with focus, organization, or motivation

  • Emotional reactivity or difficulty managing feelings

  • Social stress, isolation, or friendship concerns

  • Growing tension at home

Our work commonly focuses on anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, emotional regulation, social development, and family dynamics — including support for boys and young men navigating identity, relationships, and online influences.

At Boulder Mountain Clinical Services, therapy is not about fixing people — it is about understanding them deeply, and helping their strengths guide the path forward.

Who We Are

Thoughtful, Individualized Therapy

At Boulder Mountain Clinical Services, therapy is tailored to the individual. Every child, teen, and family brings unique strengths, challenges, and experiences, and effective therapy begins by understanding those fully.

Our clinicians use evidence-informed approaches and tailor therapy to each client’s developmental stage, learning style, and goals. Whether supporting an older child building emotional regulation skills, a teenager navigating anxiety and academic pressure, or a young adult exploring identity, relationships, and life direction, our work remains practical, collaborative, and individualized.

Our work moves at a pace that allows for real understanding, meaningful skill-building, and change that lasts.

Our Approach

Thoughtful, Individualized Therapy

Our practice provides neurodiversity-affirming care, recognizing differences in attention, communication, learning, and sensory experience as a natural part of human variation. We work collaboratively with clients and families to build self-understanding, strengthen existing abilities, and develop practical strategies that support confidence and daily functioning.

Children, teens, and young adults often begin therapy during periods of growth, transition, or increased demands at school, home, or in relationships. We aim to provide a thoughtful, supportive environment where clients can better understand themselves, strengthen important life skills, and move forward with greater confidence.

We also have significant experience supporting boys and adolescent young men who may be struggling with anger, disengagement, social isolation, or confusing messages about identity and masculinity.

Relationship First

Strong therapeutic relationships create the foundation for meaningful change. We prioritize connection so clients feel understood, safe, and ready to engage in the work of therapy.

Practical Skill Building

Clients develop tools for self-healing, emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving that translate directly into daily life.

Evidence-Informed Care

Our clinicians integrate well-established clinical approaches including CBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness-based strategies, and executive functioning support.

Parent Collaboration

Parents and caregivers are important partners in the therapeutic process. We work closely with families to reinforce skills at home and support lasting progress.
